Coalfield takes titles at Morgan County Holiday Tournament

    OAKDALE—Coalfield middle school basketball teams got a double dip of the Morgan County Championships Saturday at Oakdale.
    The Lady Jackets notched a 28-23 win over top-seed Sunbright, while Coalfield’s boys earned a 42-31 victory against Wartburg to capture the 2011 Morgan County Holiday Tournament Titles.

    For the third time in seven seasons, Coalfield’s Kevin Walls has guided his team to a Morgan County Championship.
