Employees of the Morgan County Road Department found a possible dump site for methamphetamine and reported it to the sheriff’s office on Oct. 29.
Deputy Jamie Freels reported that he found eight bags containing the materials used to make meth when he responded to the scene on Coal Hill Road.
Freels said that his investigation leads him to believe there is an active meth lab in that area. At this time no charges have been brought but the items were removed from the location.
