Obed Wild and Scenic River taking applications for Teacher-Ranger-Teacher program

    The Obed Wild and Scenic River is now taking applications for the National Park Service program called Teacher-Ranger-Teacher (TRT). Applications are being accepted from Morgan, Cumberland, and Roane County local teachers.  The selected teacher will become a park ranger for eight weeks this summer based at the Obed Wild and Scenic River Visitor Center. While wearing the National Park Ranger uniform, the teacher will perform various duties depending upon their interests and the needs of the park.
