Petros-Joyner celebrates February as National Children’s Dental Health Month

    The dental health slogan this year is “Rock Your Smile”. At Petros-Joyner School students learned about dental health from Nurse Debbie Langley. Pre-K thru 2nd grade students received toothbrushes and participated in a coloring contest. Oral health is such an important part of a child’s overall good health; but it can be overlooked in young children. Good oral health habits should begin with a dental visit before a child’s first birthday.
