How to save a life at night time

METRO—In case of a night-time fire, where you put your smoke alarm is the main factor that determines whether you’ll be able to get out of the house in time. This year’s Fire Prevention Week takes place October 4-10, and the slogan is Hear the Beep Where You Sleep: Every Bedroom Needs a Working Smoke Alarm. The sponsor, the National Fire Prevention Association, wants everybody to remember that getting out fast is what saves lives.
