Ground Broken For New School

    Superintendent of Schools John W. Galloway, a Holiday Inn representative and a member of Crouch & Adams Architect firm, former County Judge Ross H. Williams and members of the School Board participated in ground breaking ceremonies Monday morning, Dec. 16, 1974 for the new Petros-Joyner Elementary School.
    The new school building will be located on a lot at the intersection of Hwys. 116 and 62. Construction, which will be done by Holiday Inns, Inc. Construction Division, is expected to begin immediately.
