Oakdale got back into district action Tuesday night on the road at Oliver Springs. The Lady Eagles fell in a close one, but the Eagles ran away with the game early for an easy win.

The Lady Bobcats held on to beat the visiting Oakdale Lady Eagles, 54-52.

“We did our usual get behind by nine points or something early on,” Oakdale Coach Fred Snow said. “But we played really hard and really well after that.

“Oliver Springs has a good, solid team and it’s hard to catch up with them when they get that lead on you.”
