    Proud to be a teacher

When I was in third grade my very favorite teacher influenced me to become a teacher. I never had a thought of doing anything else.
I remember the very first time I attended a teachers’ meeting at the beginning of the school year. I sat down with the other teachers and glanced around. I couldn’t believe I had actually accomplished what I had set out to do when I was in third grade. I felt so proud as I thought to myself, “I’m a teacher.”
