  • Smith claims county executive is “No Show Don”

    Dear Editor,

“No Show Don” Shows up for Congressman
It’s election year so “No Show Don” shows up to rub elbows with Congressman Fleischmann. He doesn’t show up to work; he hasn’t made any efforts to produce his plan for Morgan County that he has promised in the past two elections; it must be “top secret” since the citizens haven’t seen it, or maybe he just shared it secretly with his cronies in “highly irregular” emails.

Successful season because of supportive community

    Dear Editor,

This basketball season was a very special and exciting season for us.
The girls won the regular season district championship with a 15-1 record and finished the season with an overall record of 25-8. We also got to fly to Orlando, Florida in December to participate in a holiday tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. While in Orlando, we also enjoyed a week at Disney’s theme parks.
