Jail administrator changing roles

After about one year in the role as Jail Administrator, Trevor Shadden will leave the position.

Shadden told the Morgan County Budget Committee that he will leave the role and become a patrol officer starting in March. Shadden said he is switching jobs because he is in need of a change.

David Woodard, who currently works as a narcotics officer for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, will take on the role of Jail Administrator following Shadden’s departure from the position.
