Coalfield and Petros-Joyner students kick off READ to be READY

-A A +A

Coalfield and Petros-Joyner Schools kicked off the READ to be READY summer reading program last Friday evening. Forty-two students were chosen to take part in Camp Adventure.
The students enjoyed camp food by the ‘campfire’ and reading books in tents. They enjoyed meeting Sammy the Skunk and a local author, Adele Roberts. They met Frozen Head State Park Ranger, Joe Nowotarski and had a fun time making seed balls to plant at their home. The students also created their very own campsite craft.
